The Saudi Umrah Visa is an electronic visa issued by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah that permits Pakistani citizens to enter Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah at Masjid al-Haram (Makkah) and visit Masjid al-Nabawi (Madinah). It is a single-entry e-visa valid for up to 90 days from issue, allowing a stay of up to 30 days in Saudi Arabia. The visa is processed entirely online — no embassy interview required — and typically issued within 5-7 working days through UVC.
The Saudi Umrah visa is separate from Hajj visas (issued only during the Hajj season). Pakistani pilgrims can apply for an Umrah visa year-round except during the official Hajj period (typically last 10 days of Dhul Hijjah). Since 2023, Saudi Arabia has dramatically simplified the Umrah visa process — removing age restrictions, allowing women aged 18+ to travel without a Mahram (when in an approved group), and permitting Umrah pilgrims to perform Umrah multiple times during their stay.

Both vaccinations are available at major Pakistani hospitals — Aga Khan University Hospital, Shaukat Khanum, Indus Hospital, government Polio centres, and recognised private clinics. Bring the official yellow vaccination card (or Pakistani Polio certificate) to UVC at the time of visa application.

Since June 2023, Saudi Arabia allows women aged 18+ to perform Umrah without a male Mahram (father, husband, son, brother). The only requirement is that women travel as part of an approved Umrah group with a registered operator.
