UVC assists Pakistani citizens with Canada Temporary Resident Visa applications — IRCC online filing, document preparation, financial proof guidance, and biometric appointment support all handled.
The Canada Visitor Visa, officially called a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV), is a counterfoil sticker placed in your passport that allows Pakistani citizens to enter Canada for tourism, family visits, business meetings, or short courses (under 6 months). It is issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), and biometrics are collected at VFS Global centres in Islamabad, Lahore, or Karachi.
Pakistani passport holders must always apply for a TRV before flying to Canada — there is no visa-on-arrival option. The maximum stay per entry is 6 months (decided by the border officer at port of entry). Most TRVs are issued as multiple-entry, 10-year validity (or until passport expiry), allowing repeat visits without re-applying.
IRCC assesses every visitor visa application against five core criteria:
Unlike the UK, Canada places significant weight on visa history. Previous travel to USA, UK, Schengen countries, Australia, or New Zealand strengthens your case substantially. UVC encourages first-time international travellers to build a travel history with easier destinations (UAE, Malaysia, Turkey) before Canada when possible.

According to IRCC's published service standards, Canada visitor visa applications from Pakistan typically take:
| Stage | Time |
|---|---|
| Document preparation (with UVC) | 1-2 weeks |
| Application + biometrics submission | 1 week |
| IRCC processing (standard) | 8-16 weeks |
| Passport return after approval | 1-2 weeks |
| Total realistic timeline | 3-5 months |
UVC strongly recommends applying at least 4-6 months before intended travel. Canada visitor visa processing from Pakistan can spike during summer (June-August) and winter (November-January).

The Super Visa is a special long-term multiple-entry visitor visa for parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens or PRs. It allows stays of up to 5 years per entry (instead of the standard 6 months) and is valid for up to 10 years.
Super Visa requirements include:
UVC handles Super Visa cases — particularly for Pakistani parents whose adult children have settled in Toronto, Mississauga, Calgary, or Vancouver. Approval rates are typically higher than standard visitor visas due to the documented sponsor income requirement.
IRCC doesn't publish a minimum, but UVC recommends PKR 15-20 lakh maintained over 6 months for a short visit. For longer visits (over 2 months) or Super Visa, proportionally more. Consistency matters more than the total — IRCC wants to see genuine savings, not a one-time deposit before applying.
IRCC's published Pakistan visitor visa approval rate is around 30-40% — one of the toughest globally. No consultant can guarantee a specific approval rate; anyone claiming one is misleading you. UVC builds the strongest possible case (financial story, ties to Pakistan, travel history, complete documentation) and declines weak files rather than charging fees on cases we believe will fail.
Most Canadian TRVs are issued as 10-year multiple-entry visas (or until passport expiry). You don't need to travel immediately — use it whenever convenient within validity. Each entry allows up to 6 months stay.
You cannot apply for PR from inside Canada on a visitor visa, but you can apply for Express Entry, Provincial Nomination, or family sponsorship from Pakistan while holding a valid TRV. Some applicants visit Canada to attend interviews, view properties, or meet PNP requirements. See our Canada PR guide.
Yes — you must apply for a Visitor Record (different from a visa) from inside Canada at least 30 days before your status expires. This extends your authorised stay but doesn't change your visa.
Honestly, very little. IRCC primarily values travel to the USA, UK, Schengen, Australia, New Zealand, or Japan. UAE/KSA visits are noted but don't move the needle much. If you don't have Western travel, build a strong domestic profile (job, business, property) to compensate.
Yes. Past refusals don't permanently bar you. UVC requests the GCMS notes (IRCC's internal officer notes) to understand exactly why the visa was refused, then addresses each concern with new evidence in the re-application. Many of our successful clients had 1-2 prior Canadian refusals.
