What is the UAE / Dubai Visit Visa?

The UAE Visit Visa (also called Dubai Tourist Visa or UAE Tourist Visa) is a short-stay visa that allows Pakistani citizens to enter the United Arab Emirates — including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, and Umm Al Quwain — for tourism, family visits, business meetings, or shopping. It is issued by the UAE Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security (ICP) and sponsored by a UAE-based entity (airline, hotel, travel agency, or UAE resident).

UAE visit visas come in three main durations: 30 days, 60 days, and 90 days — each available as single-entry or multiple-entry. The most popular option for Pakistani applicants is the 30-day single-entry tourist visa. Processing is among the fastest in the world — typically 3-5 working days through UVC.

All UAE visit visas are e-visas — there's no physical sticker in your passport. You receive a PDF that you print and present at immigration on arrival.

UAE Visit Visa Requirements for Pakistani Citizens (2026)

UAE has the most relaxed visit visa requirements among major destinations for Pakistanis. There is no embassy interview and no biometrics required in advance — the visa is processed entirely online.

Pakistani applicants cannot apply directly with ICP — you must apply through a UAE sponsor. The three most common sponsorship channels are: (1) airline-attached visas (book your flight with Emirates/Etihad/FlyDubai and add visa), (2) UAE travel agencies through Pakistani partners like UVC, or (3) UAE resident sponsorship (family/friend with Emirates ID).

UAE has historically had one of the highest visit-visa approval rates globally for Pakistani applicants when documents are complete. Refusals are usually linked to passport issues, prior UAE overstay, or incomplete documents. UVC does not guarantee approval (no consultant can) — but we ensure your file is complete before submission.

How UVC Handles Your UAE Visit Visa Application

  1. Choose visa type — 30/60/90 day, single or multiple entry, based on your travel plan.
  2. Send documents on WhatsApp — passport scan, photo, return ticket, hotel/sponsor proof. No physical visit needed.
  3. UVC submits via licensed UAE channel — direct integration with approved UAE travel agencies for fastest processing.
  4. Track in real-time — you receive application reference and status updates.
  5. Receive e-visa PDF — emailed and on WhatsApp within 3-5 working days (or 24-48 hours express).
  6. Print and travel — present printed e-visa with passport at UAE immigration.

UVC works through multiple licensed UAE travel partners for redundancy — if one channel is slow, we switch automatically. Founder-led review of every application; transparent fees with written breakdown before payment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do Pakistani citizens get UAE visa on arrival?

No. Pakistani passport holders must obtain a UAE visit visa before travel. Visa-on-arrival is available only for select nationalities (USA, EU, UK, etc.) — not Pakistan.

How much bank balance is needed for a UAE visit visa from Pakistan?

UAE doesn't publish a minimum, but a balance of PKR 1.5-3 lakh in your account for the last 3 months is generally sufficient for 30-day visas. For 60/90-day visas or older applicants without family sponsor, PKR 5+ lakh is recommended.

Can I extend my UAE visit visa from inside the UAE?

Yes. 30-day visas can be extended once for another 30 days (AED 600+) without exiting. Some visas can be extended twice. Best done through UVC's UAE partner before your existing visa expires — overstay fines are AED 100/day.

Can I work in UAE on a visit visa?

No. Working on a visit visa is illegal and can lead to deportation, fines, and a ban. For employment, you need an employer-sponsored Work Visa. UVC does not facilitate work visas.

Can my family sponsor my UAE visit visa?

Yes. A UAE resident family member (with valid Emirates ID and minimum salary of AED 4,000-10,000 depending on residence type) can sponsor your visit visa. This route is often cheaper. UVC handles family sponsor applications too.

Will UAE visa approvals help my UK/Canada/Schengen applications?

Mildly. UAE travel adds to your travel history but UK/Canada/Schengen heavily favour visits to Western/developed countries (USA, UK, EU, AUS, NZ, Japan). UAE is "good to have" but not a strong credential by itself.

How long can I stay in UAE on a 30-day tourist visa?

You can stay for 30 days from your date of entry (not date of visa issue). The visa itself is usually valid for 60 days from issue — meaning you have up to 60 days to enter, then 30 days of stay starts from your entry date.
